1. Who we are and what this page covers

Pure Rain Grove is a small online lingerie label offering a short range of seamless bras, bralettes, briefs, shorts and sets. This page explains how we handle the personal information of people who visit our website, write to us about a product, or ask us about an order or a return. We handle personal information in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). Because this website has no online checkout, most of what we hold comes from messages you send us yourself.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is needed to answer you and, if you go ahead, to complete an order.
Contact form and email: your name, email address and the text of your message, plus anything you choose to tell us about sizes or preferences.
Telephone: your number and a note of what we discussed.
Orders and returns arranged through us: your delivery name, postal address, telephone number, the items you chose, and a record that payment was received. This website does not take card details, and we never ask you to send them to us by email.
Technical data: like any website, our hosting may record your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use this only to keep the site working and secure.

3. Why we use it (purposes of use)

We use your personal information only for the following purposes: to reply to your enquiry; to help you choose a style and size from our collection; to confirm availability, price, delivery and payment with you before an order is accepted; to pack and send an order and to handle a return or exchange; to keep the records that tax and commercial law require us to keep; and to keep this website secure and working. We do not use your information for any other purpose without telling you first, and we will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

4. Sharing with others (provision to third parties)

We do not sell personal information and we do not provide it to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases. When we use a delivery company or a payment provider to complete an order you asked for, we pass on only what they need to do their part, and we expect them to protect it. When the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a public authority. And if the business were ever transferred to someone else, in which case your information would be handled under the same rules as this policy.

5. Service providers outside Japan

Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), and this website loads an embedded Google map and fonts from Google. Google operates servers in several countries, so your message or your visit may be processed outside Japan. We use these services for ordinary correspondence and page display only, and we choose providers that publish their own data protection commitments.

6. Cookies

Our website currently sets only a small cookie that remembers your choice in the cookie notice. We explain this on our Cookie Policy page, and we will update both pages before adding any analytics or advertising tool.

7. How we keep it safe

Your messages are kept in a password-protected mailbox that only the people running Pure Rain Grove can open. We keep order paperwork in a closed file, not on a shared device, and we do not leave customer details in the open. If we notice a leak or loss that could affect you, we will tell you and the authority concerned as the APPI requires.

8. How long we keep it

We keep a simple enquiry for as long as it takes to answer you and a reasonable period afterwards in case you write back. Records of an order, delivery or return are kept for the period that Japanese tax and commercial rules require, and are then deleted or destroyed. If you ask us to delete your message earlier, we will do so unless the law obliges us to keep it.

9. Your rights: disclosure, correction, suspension of use and deletion

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to stop using it, or to delete it. Write or call us using the contact details below, and tell us enough for us to find your records. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that nobody else can obtain your information. We will answer without undue delay, and if we cannot do what you ask, for example because the law requires us to keep a record, we will explain why.

10. Changes to this policy
